A true taste of the Mediterranean — this traditional Greek salad combines crisp vegetables, creamy feta, and rich Kalamata olives, all brought together with a drizzle of premium extra virgin olive oil. Perfect as a side dish, starter, or light meal.
Ingredients

3 large tomatoes, chopped into wedges

1 cucumber, sliced into half-moons

1 red onion, thinly sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

150g feta cheese, cut into cubes or crumbled

80g Kalamata olives (pitted)

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 tbsp red wine vinegar

1 tsp dried oregano
-
Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh oregano or parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions

Prepare the Vegetables:
Wash and cut the tomatoes, cucumber, onion, and bell pepper. Place them in a large salad bowl. -
Add the Feta and Olives:
Scatter the feta cheese cubes and Kalamata olives over the vegetables. -
Dress the Salad:
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, oregano, salt, and pepper. Pour over the salad and toss gently to coat. -
Finish and Serve:
Garnish with fresh oregano or parsley. Serve immediately or chill briefly before serving for enhanced flavour.
Serving Suggestion
Serve alongside grilled meats, gyros, or seafood dishes. Ideal for restaurant menus, mezze platters, or as a refreshing accompaniment to main courses.
